Yardi Systems Account Executive, Yardi Energy in New York City, New York

The Account Executive, Yardi Energy will be responsible for selling our technology and services to the commercial real estate industry. This includes property owners, management companies, institutions and Real Estate Trusts, both within the installed Yardi client-base and to prospective clients.

The Commercial Energy Services Division’s mission is to provide a comprehensive, best-in-class suite of solutions to help clients manage cost, risk and compliance related to their energy use, while reducing consumption and environmental impact.

Responsibilities

• Meet or exceed the monthly, quarterly and annual revenue goals
• Full sales cycle, to include: lead generation, telephone and email prospecting, on-line and in-person meetings and presentations, attendance at conferences and trade events, preparation of proposals and agreements, and closing sales
• Be technically familiar with the Commercial Energy product solutions, the competition, and market conditions
• Be highly adept at working with executive level personnel in all-sizes of commercial real estate organizations, engineering firms, trade associations, energy suppliers and hardware vendors.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
• A minimum of 3 years of sales experience with a demonstrated track record of success
• Must have a solid understanding and by able to apply basic sales principles to include: lead generation, opportunity qualification, proposal development, contract negotiation, and closure
• Must possess strong presentation skills
• Highly ethical and professional approach to business
• Ability to coordinate/cooperate with other sales teams
• Ability to develop outstanding customer relationships
• Ability to understand technical products and demonstrate features and benefits
• Ability to travel a minimum of 10%
• Regular attendance and a regular work schedule is an essential function of this job
• The following will be given strong consideration: background in enterprise software sales, commercial real estate experience, and/or energy experience
