Defend the business in our prime vendor accounts while also growing new business by penetrating and converting competitive products in key strategic product categories.
Achieve customer aligned goals on a quarterly basis.
Achieve sales objective in all categories.
Partner with other relevant selling representatives within the division to increase sales and market share.
Collaborate with multiple business stakeholders, including Territory Managers, Regional Vice President, and Enterprise Solutions Area Vice Presidents, Professional Education, and other business alliances.
Fully implement sales strategy.
Maintain high retention rate and increase current business through outstanding service to all accounts.
Must have strong clinical knowledge.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Good overall business acumen (market understanding, business planning, time and territory management.
Ability to build value based, results focused, customer relationships.
Sell all assigned products offered by Olympus Energy with a minimum goal of 90% penetration.
Develop account into fully qualified Olympus reference.
Conduct quarterly business reviews to demonstrate strength of Olympus contracts and highlight new areas for growth.
Increase overall satisfaction levels at Olympus account through scrubbing and in-servicing surgeons, fellows, residents, and other operating room personnel OR on the safe and efficacious use of Olympus products.
Develop clinical and administrative relationships.
Identify and meet the goals of the hospital.
Advocate Company to the customer and follow Company policy with sincerity, excellence, and integrity.
Provide the highest level of customer responsiveness by being available 24-hours/ day, 7-days/ week.
Ensure that all corporate assets are in excellent condition, i.e., proper maintenance of Company car.
Minimize Returns, and reduce the exchanges of product through effective inventory management.
Demonstrate fiscal restraint and exhibit behavior associated with a desire to increase earnings and profitability in your territory.
Assist Credit and Collections Department to ensure our customers are paying within the customer’s contract terms.
Continually increase technical/industry knowledge.
Participate in Divisional and Regional meetings.
Provide Quarterly and Annual Business Reviews to Regional Vice President.
Must have the ability to work in a lab or an operating room environment.
Perform all other essential duties as required.

The role of the Account Manager is to: Drive relationships and expand and protect base business with our customers. They are responsible for protecting, growing and expanding the Surgical Energy portfolio – including Advanced Energy and Surgical Instrumentation products.

Bachelor's degree is required (Business Administration, Marketing preferred).
Minimum of 2 years Field Based Sales Experience is required (preferably in medical sales).
Excellent understanding of vendor, distributor, hospital supply chain management is essential.
Clinical operating room experience or medical device sales experience with documented performance is preferred.
Must possess excellent written, verbal skills; ability to develop and present complex business reviews/presentations.
Must possess the ability to gain support and communicate with all levels of organization.
Excellent computer skills with Microsoft Office and Apple applications are desired.
Daily travel to accounts 100% by car or plane is necessary.
