Energy Project Manager

Key Role:

Support a portfolio of 3-5 DoD energy projects as a project manager. Maintain responsibility for project schedules, planning and organizing project development meetings, and coordinating with colleagues to produce project briefings and memoranda. Guide the efforts of supporting project coordinators, engineers, business analysts, and other experts to support the timely execution of large scale energy projects, as needed. Advise federal clients on their approach to project management with a focus on driving successful project completion.

Basic Qualifications:

-Experience in the energy industry

-Experience in working with the federal government

-Experience with working on multi-disciplinary teams and contributing to parallel project development workstreams and activities

-Ability to travel 25% of the time

-Ability to obtain a security clearance

-BA or BS degree required

Additional Qualifications:

-Experience in working with DoD installations on energy-related technology, financial, and GOV contracting issues

-Knowledge of renewable energy technologies and markets

-Ability to synthesize technical information and data into clear and concise deliverables

-Ability to collaborate with a team in preparing effective presentations and deliverables

-Possession of excellent organizational skills, including managing multiple client meetings on a weekly basis

-Possession of excellent interpersonal skills

-Possession of excellent oral and written communication skills, including presenting complex energy data to non–technical audiences

-MA or MS degree a plus
