Vectrus Energy Manager in Albuquerque, New Mexico


Fully responsible for all energy management functions at KirtlandAFB.


1. Conductingresearch on design specifications in effort to improve energy management.

2. Preparingwork schedules to meet deadlines on assigned projects.

3. Perform qualitative and quantitative research anddata gathering and identify key themes, trends, and opportunities from complexdata sets.

4. Capture, synthesize, and summarize key pointsfrom interviews, focus groups, and internal meetings, translating insights intodraft deliverables and products.

5. Develop creative and innovative solutions toclient issues and project approaches.

6. Develop accurate and complete staff documentationto support project execution and completion.

7. Ability to think conceptually and strategicallyand learn quickly; critical thinker, analyst, and active listener.

8. Ability to meet deadlines, adhere to projectplans, ensure any conflicts are brought to the attention of the managementteam, and multi-task and work on several projects simultaneously.


Personal Computer operations andother general office equipment.May be exposedto potentially hazardous conditions that require wear of hard hats, gloves,steel toed boots, hearing protection, safety glasses and other personalprotection equipment (PPE); may be required to push, pull and lift heavy equipment.Use of portable radio or cell phone to maintain contact and accountability ofwork activities.


Workwill be indoors and outdoors. Exposure to heat, cold, dust, noise, chemicalsmay occur. Overtime and shift work may be required depending on contractualneeds. Employee must comply with allFederal, State and Local regulations and published Company work rules as wellas written instructions. Task specific work environment training will beprovided as required.Must be able to lift/push/pull 50 lbs. May be required to do field verification bywalking across grounds, working in mechanical rooms of facilities, climbing onroofs


* Education/Certifications * :

Bachelor's degree in Engineeringfrom aprogram certified by the Accreditation Board for

Engineering and Technology(ABET) or have a bachelor’s degree in architecture from a program

certified bythe National Architecture Accrediting Board.

Have and maintain a Certified Energy Manager certification fromthe Association of Energy Engineers.

Have and maintain a Certified Energy Manager certification fromthe Association of Energy Engineers.

* Experience * :

Have a minimum of 3 years experience in energy management at amajor US military installation. (Air Force experience is preferred).

* Skills * :

Familiarity with USAF civil engineering processes/proceduresis highly desirable.
