External Job ResponsibilitiesWEC Business Services, a division of WEC Energy Group, is seeking a The Director –Energy Efficiency and Commercial & Industrial Customer Strategy and Support. This position will primarily support of the Peoples Gas an North Shore Gas utilities.
The Director –Energy Efficiency and Commercial & Industrial Customer Strategy and Support provides strategic direction, leadership and oversight associated with day-to-day management and support for all energy efficiency programs as well as l Commercial/Industrial gas customers including account management of large, high revenue key customers.
Day-to-day management of Commercial/Industrial gas customers includes business customer communications, processes, business development/expansion opportunities company-wide support for resolution of complex customer issues for C&I customers. The director is also responsible for providing strategic leadership, vision and direction related to servicing the needs of our C&I and key customers, management of customer issues, providing value added services and improving customer satisfaction.
In addition, lead efforts to become a top performer in the nation in customer satisfaction by being a valued business partner for our customers through strong partnerships with Operations, Construction, Finance, Legal, Construction and Regulatory.
Responsible for creating and executing the energy efficiency program strategies ($30 million a year program) ensuring that business objectives are achieved. This position also has responsibility for managing the internal staff responsible for the design and delivery of quality programs. The individual in this position will need to develop and maintain strategic partnerships as well as effectively represent PG/NSG and interface with our large end use utility customers, contractors, municipalities, interveners and government entities (including but not limited to (Illinois Commerce Commission, State Attorney General, Citizens Utility Board, City of Chicago, customers, trade allies, industry groups, etc.) that have diverse interests in our energy efficiency programs.
Education/Experience RequirementsBachelor's degree in Business, Engineering or related field is required. In addition, a minimum of 10 years of relevant experience is required. Prior utility industry experience is preferred.
