But companies don't flip the cloud switch overnight. We need to help organizations understand what cloud adoption with AWS is all about, and we're looking for an experienced manager who can help us develop a powerful point of view on the future of cloud computing for customers from a key industrial sector: Energy & Utilities. Expect to hit the ground running with the following goals... Develop and execute global marketing activities intended to educate Energy & Utilities companies on AWS and the journey to the cloud Dive deep on how AWS helps Energy & Utilities companies reduce technical debt, increase innovation, and increase agility in order to establish a clear point of view on how we message AWS to these audiences. Partner with Product Marketing, Professional Services, Business Development, Solutions Architects, and our Partner team to build content for executives, decision makers, IT professionals, and developers to paint a compelling picture for cloud computing and AWS. Establish an industry-leading digital presence for cloud computing in Energy & Utilities. These industries are complex, and so is the organization within AWS that supports it. You're going to need to be skilled at collaborating with a diverse set of teams across the company to achieve your goals. In addition, you'll need to be the champion and architect of your ideas. "Strategists" used to handing things off to an agency for development are probably not going to be successful. We're looking for a leader with strong ownership over the outcome and who can carry our voice and our brand to new heights. Basic Qualifications 5+ years of relevant work experience in fields such as product marketing, content marketing, consulting, or product management in the Energy & Utilities industry A Bachelor's degree in marketing, business, technology, or relevant field of study such as computer science Superior oral and written communication skills Demonstrated track record in crafting compelling positioning and marketing content Demonstrated ability in launching and growing innovative marketing initiatives Preferred Qualifications MBA Experience successfully marketing to enterprises Experience working in an enterprise technology environment A bias for action for developing awesome marketing assets (product videos, web content, etc) A career path that demonstrates increasing levels of responsibility and a knack for driving and/or being associated with benchmark industry products/services Ability to easily transition from high level strategic thinking to creative and detailed execution The candidate must also be a strong collaborator and excellent communicator who can drive consensus and articulate program recommendations and tradeoffs to senior executives Amazon is an Equal Opportunity-Affirmative Action Employer – Minority / Female / Disability / Veteran / Gender Identity / Sexual Orientation
