Energy Sales Associate

$14-$17hr./ plus Commission – Salt Lake City

PrincePerelson has partnered with a Global Energy Firm here in Salt Lake City to find an amazing Energy Sales Associate to add to their growing company.

The Big Picture – Top Skills You Should Possess:

  • Be able to engage and have strong sales skills

  • Have exceptional communication skills

  • Capable of executing projects and operations

  • Must have strong discipline and excellent time management skills

  • Ability to be proactive and work independently

  • Capable of keeping a positive, up-beat demeanor

Daily Duties of the Energy Sales Associate:

  • Strong sales both cold call sales as well as Business to Business

  • Ability to assess small and large building systems

  • Communicate energy saving opportunities

  • Conduct outreach and education to targeted customers and schedule energy efficiency audits

  • Enroll or assess multiple businesses per day

  • Determine qualifying technology/equipment

  • Use software tools to develop and track projects

  • Explain Energy Assessment results to customers and effectively sell a project

  • Timely reporting of weekly activities and audit results via software tools

Requirements of the Energy Sales Associate:

  • A minimum of 2 years of direct sales experience

  • Ability to cold call B2B customers

  • Excellent communication skills

  • Work with Sales Team Members

  • Extensive travel throughout Utah, Idaho and Wyoming (Overnight stay will be required)


  • Base plus performance-based Commission with a total earning potential of $80,000+ Medical, Dental, Vision, and Life insurance
