Job Description To support our growth, ICF is adding staff to its energy efficiency team in the Portland, Oregon area to support a wide range of energy efficiency programs. Our clients include utilities, recognizable Fortune 500 global corporations, as well as a variety of Industry, Government, Not for Profit and Education organizations. We are seeking an Account Coordinator to absorb a crucial new role in the implementation of programs that will help deliver and expand our offerings. You should have the unique combination of communication, interpersonal, analytical, phone, and customer relationship skills that will make you a critical member of our interdisciplinary team from the day you arrive. Key Responsibilities * Engage as part of an interdependent team to ensure high customer satisfaction; * Build a productive rapport and communicate daily with assigned Account Manager(s), customers and trade allies participating in or inquiring about energy-efficiency projects; * Support assigned Account Manager(s) in their daily activities including but not limited to: inbound and outbound follow up with customers and contractors; project tracking and workflow updating; contact database management; project forecasting; market and customer research and lead list generation; * Review project forms and submittals by customers, trade allies, Energy Management Specialists, third party consultants and other program participants for accuracy and completeness; * Follow projects through from inception to completion, informing Account Manager(s) and customers of next steps and keeping other departments and trade allies informed of status; * Obtain and upload any missing information surrounding technical specifications, invoices, applications engineering calculations and cost estimates for energy-efficiency projects; * Learn and apply knowledge of program software systems, workflow, program and contract/deliverable guidelines, account management and implementation manuals, and server-based program resource locations; * Provide peak-time support to Operations team (as directed) to prioritize, assess and process project incentives to help the Team meet contractual and customer deadlines.

Qualifications

Basic Qualifications * Experience in a similar role assisting Account Managers or sales people to bring projects to completion; * Demonstrated phone and writing skills and proven results of productively and courteously interacting with all levels within an organization, as well as customers; * Outstanding analytical and research skills required to identify issues, problem solve, alert, and develop solutions; * Excellent interpersonal skills and customer relationship management skills; * Superior and consistent contact management skills. Software platform skills a plus; * Ability to prioritize and multitask, and an ability to work in a fast pace environment; * Experience with energy-efficiency programs and energy-efficiency measures a plus, but not required. Professional Skills * Sound business ethics, including discretion and protection of proprietary and confidential information; * Interest and willingness to be part of a functioning team and respond to competing priorities across an organization; * Ability to respectfully work with and enable the assigned Account Manager(s) and all levels of internal staff, customers, trade allies and a larger team; * Excellent problem solving skills with ability to analyze situations, identify existing or potential problems, alert appropriate actors and recommend solutions; * Proficiency in MS Office Applications (Word, Outlook, and Excel). Knowledge of Microsoft Dynamics a Plus, but not required.
