We are looking for the best and brightest to join our team. Within this team, the successful applicant will be responsible for developing business with our existing client base, and securing new non-Envise customers to our business.

Specifically, this role requires experience in the following, especially Energy Service.

  • Understanding the importance and customer value to maintaining these systems & energy management

  • Data/Analytics

  • ROI Selling

  • Local and Federal Energy policy and rebates to close sell

  • Selling in complex and political environments

  • Excellent qualification skills

  • Long-term business and master planning with clients

    In this role, you will be tasked with pro-actively engaging customers & potential customers face to face, and developing relationships with end-users, building property/facility managers in order to understand develop the relevant sales strategy. You will also be expected to learn our business at Envise and be able to articulate this to the industry and customers.

    What you'll be doing:

  • Works with branch leadership to identify and qualify prospects and clients to pursue

  • Develops a specific business plan to illustrate the actions and development of the market growth (sales order intake and gross margin portfolio management)

  • Regularly meets with prospective clients to develop needs and ultimately sell Automation system retrofits/existing building commissioning/ Optimization opportunities / Performance Based customized Service contracts

  • Meet or exceed assigned sales goals

  • Proactively manage a business funnel and provide accurate forecasting for projected sale and timing

  • Proactively manage calendar to pre-plan customer visits (average between 8-10 customer face to face visits per week)

  • Develop sales leads through personal contacts, professional organization participation and general market awareness. Target and contact key decision makers within the industry, and build long-term relationships that you will manage.

  • Engage with the construction side of the business at the appropriate construction phase to engage the owner about maintaining the Automation system once the project has been completed.

  • Visit clients to assist in building the Project scope, or the customized Service Contract focusing on a ‘win-win’

  • Actively promote the capabilities of the Envise brand to clients.

  • Maintains a positive client relationship and resolves customer disputes

    What you can bring to the table:

  • Highly effective people skills that allows a person to build a favorable rapport quickly with others. Must be able to think outside of the box and be innovative to create sales opportunities, which will differentiate Envise from its competitors. Ability to overcome objections or negatives.

  • Must have excellent demonstrated sales skills in prospecting, qualifying, proposing and closing. Cold calling for new prospects is required and sufficient skills in this area are a must.

  • Demonstrate a high level of verbal and written communication skills. Must be able to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers and the general public. Must be able to write reports, business correspondence and must be able to develop and present power point presentations.

  • Must be an expert in automation systems, while able to develop written proposals that can clearly articulate the benefits of Envise’s recommendations both technically and financially.

  • Must be capable of presenting a professional image to a varying level of prospects from maintenance staff personal to chief executive positions. Upper management personal is the primary prospect target.

  • Ability to read, analyze and interpret general business periodicals professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations.

  • Must be self-motivated and self-disciplined to manage time to produce effective sales results.

  • Must be self-disciplined to manage constant changes in planned schedules to meet prospects changing requirements and deadlines.

  • Must be capable of developing and managing major accounts (existing and new) to effectively maintain positive relationships and continued work from the assigned existing client base, while adding new major accounts to the portfolio.

  • Must be familiar with Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, and Power Point.

  • Effective collaborator internally and externally, with very broad problem solving abilities & an ability to focus on goal obtainment.

  • As an industry expert, you will be able to guide & train less experienced team members using your leadership skills.

  • Bachelor’s degree (B.A.) from four-year College or University; or seven years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and maintenance sales experience.

  • Preferably professional sales training of some kind.
