Job Summary:

The manager of Americas NGLs, condensate and petchems sits within the Energy Research & Product Development team and manages CME Group’s existing slate of NGLs, condensate and petchem products as well as preparing new listings. This candidate will be responsible for the maintenance and further development of an important business line for CME Group. The candidate will be responsible for ensuring the smooth listing of new Americas NGLs, condensate and petchems derivatives in consultation with the relevant business line manager. This position requires data analysis proficiency, strong communication skills and a thorough understanding of the NGLs, condensate and petchems markets in the Americas. The candidate will provide thought leadership within the energy space. As such, the candidate will be expected to author position pieces and white papers on industry developments and to contribute to marketing and education campaigns. The candidate will work closely with other team members within the energy research and product development team and will provide assistance and cover as necessary.

Principal Responsibilities:

  • Reviewing the performance and relevance of the existing Americas NGLs, condensate and petchems listings

  • Researching new market sectors and trends within the NGLs, condensate and petchems space

  • Sharing expertise internally and externally

  • Authoring thought leadership pieces for various audiences

  • Assisting team members covering other energy segments as required

Qualifications:

  • Detailed knowledge of the Americas NGLs, condensate and petchems market

  • Knowledge of exchange-traded derivatives and energy price benchmarks

  • Proficient with data management

  • Strong communication skills

  • Minimum BS or BA in any relevant degree

  • 3 to 5+ Years Relevant Experience
