This position is primarily responsible along with support of the Director of International Sales and Business Development for managing the sales

actions for the assigned Region of the Latin America by performing the assigned

duties listed below, and/or through subordinate Sales Account Managers and

Representatives. This position is expected to accomplish three primary


  • Capture new business withfirm executable purchase orders for ANGI's products.

  • Increase ANGI's market sharein the CNG Refueling Systems market segment, both public and privatesectors.

  • Expand ANGI's business intonon-CNG market segments. Non-CNG market segments include Alternate Fuels,Biogas, Fuel Gas Boosting (using reciprocating and rotary compressors),Process (API-618 reciprocating compressors), tube-trailer filling and highhorsepower application / upstream applications.

The sales representative shall

accomplish these objectives by developing, negotiating, and implementing

partnerships with customers, sales representatives, distributors, industry

consultants, industry Trade Organizations, and Engineering & Contractor

companies. Also by performing the

following duties personally or by supervising the subordinate Account Managers,

Sales Representatives, and Sales Engineers or indirectly through the

supervision of other ANGI personnel as needed.


Core duties and responsibilities include the following. Other

duties may also be assigned from time to time:

  • Establish strategicmarketing plans to achieve ANGI's objectives for its products and servicesand complex engineered solutions.

  • Develop strategies forestablishing partnerships and business relationships to market ANGI'sproducts and services.

  • Develop and executecomprehensive marketing plans and programs, both short and long range, tosupport ANGI sales and revenue objectives.

  • Evaluate and recommend thedevelopment of distribution channels and/or sales representatives.

  • Collaborates with internaldepartments, such as marketing, sales, and engineering for technicalsupport and guidance, and external partners and allies in the developmentand implementation of commerce strategies, plans, and business models.

  • Seeks out and researches prospectiveprojects through making phone calls, traveling, attending compressionindustry conferences, exhibitions, and trade shows and utilizing theInternet.

  • Markets new and existingcustomers through creation, development, and implementation of various businesssolutions.

  • Manages relationships withvarious prospects, clients, and partners in the business environment.

  • Using ANGI’s currentsoftware tools or future CRM system that ANGI would implement, compilelists of prospective customers for use as sales leads, based oninformation from newspapers, business directories, industry ads, tradeshows, Internet Web sites, and other sources.

  • Estimates demand forproposed projects and ANGI’s products based on market research andcustomer requirements. Documents these estimates by submitting monthly andquarterly writtenBookings andSales forecasts using ANGI’s software tools.

  • Supports ANGI’s Quality Planby submitting on-time detailed scope of supply information, bothcommercial and technical, for new Purchase Orders at the time of orderacceptance so that the orders can be executed, and by conducting customersurveys and submitting field non-conformances so the customer’s experiencecan be considered.

  • Provide input to the ANGImanagement and sales team on competitor’s pricing delivery and productrange.

  • Provide input and support toupper management in deal negotiations, contract development, duediligence, strategic marketing plans, and other business development oralliance development activities.

  • Assist the sales andmarketing department with the planning of marketing and promotions,including advertising, special sales, and subsidiary rights.

  • Provide input to themanagement team on new product or service features to be developed to meetcurrent and future customer needs.

  • Provide guidance, trainingand support to junior Sales, Marketing and Business Development staff.

  • Research and learn all new emerging technologies and trends.


Accountable for the assigned

Region's annual Bookings and Gross Margin goals and objectives, the Standard

Cost Budgets for each sold product, and delivering at the time of official

Order Acceptance complete Technical and Commercial definition of what the

customer has purchased, Technical Specifications and Scope of Supply, Terms and

Conditions of Sale, and all documentation required for engineering, supply

chain, and manufacturing to process the order on time.
