The right person for this position will operate and maintain the Energy Center equipment when on line. Monitor standby boilers to ensure proper operation if needed. Work with HVAC on work orders, preventative maintenance tasks and equipment repairs.
High school diploma or the equivalent.
Current Class "A" Operator's License and a Universal Refrigerant Certification.
Five years experience in the operation and maintenance of equipment in a high pressure steam generation plant or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
Ability to maintain and repair equipment using hand and power tools and read and comprehend technical manuals and schematic drawings.
If driving is a requirement for the employee,he/she must meet the requirements specified in the Fleet Driving Safety and Compliance Policy and must continue to meet these requirements as a condition of employment.
Ability to climb ladders, push and pull up to 95 pounds and lift up to 50 pounds.
Ability to wear half mask respirator to comply with OSHA requirements.
Verbal communication skills required to explain procedures to other engineers during training.
