DNV GL HR Manager in Energy Advisory in Hamburg, Germany
Energy Advisory, Region Central Europe and Mediterranean is represented in 7 countries within Europe with its headquarter in Hamburg. The expertise of our engineers lies within the renewables advisory and the energy advisory field. As consultants and advisory we stand on our clients' side and support them getting the best solutions for their demands.
We are currently looking for a dedicated HR Manager who will be supporting our division „Energy Advisory“. The role is defined as a strategic position within the business and acts with the following tasks and responsibilities:
Acting as a trusted partner for and with the Senior Management Team: supporting, collaborating and building robust business
HR plans to ensure the business objectives are met
Provide generalist HR advice and guidance to staff and managers ensuring compliance with statutory legislation, company policies, processes and procedures
Ensure managers are appropriately briefed, coached, trained and equipped to implement new HR strategies within their respective businesses
Facilitate and drive business change initiatives
Contribute to the business development and successful delivery of a range of HR projects and initiatives
Proactively develop resourcing plans and strategies in order to meet resourcing requirements
Contract duration: 12 months
No. of hours per week: 30
University degree in Business Administration or Law with focus on HR or equivalent
Several years of relevant experience in HR, e.g. in recruitment, employee relations, training & development, and in negotiating with works councils
Experience in collaborating on high management levels
Ability to demonstrate up to date knowledge and understanding of employment legislation and best practice techniques
Deep interest or knowledge of the business, its key markets, competitors and challenges it faces
Advanced MS Office skills, particularly in Word and Excel
Excellent English and German language skills, both verbal and written
Strong planning and organizational skills as well as strong problem solving skills
Good communication skills with the ability to negotiate and influence at all levels
Experience in handling difficult discussions and conversations
Ability to work independently as well as in a team
Flexible, ambitious and pro-active manner
