As a member of our energy efficiency team, you will be responsible for shaping critical programs for the next era of energy policies that will impact our communities and our world. You will support the implementation of highprofile publicprivate partnership programs to drive improved energy efficiency in the federal, commercial, multi-family, and industrial markets. You will build and maintain relationships with key market actors, review energy consumption data, leading review and analysis of large volumes of program data, and coordinating with other team members and clients to develop national and regional strategies to influence the market and increase participation in energy efficiency programs.
What you'll be doing.... * Building and maintaining relationships with key market actors, including commercial building owners and operators, industry associations, and utilities * Serving as direct point of contact for one or more clients/project leads * Serving as direct point of contact and liaison for program participants, and maintaining detailed records in customer management system * Coordinating with other team members and clients to develop national and regional strategies to influence the market and increase participation in programs * Conducting partner recruitment, onboarding, and ongoing support to maximize program participation * Providing partners with technical and marketing assistance * Contributing to the development and deployment of communications, outreach, and training resources, including case studies, webinars, in-person events, and other opportunities * Developing and delivering trainings and presentations * Tracking state/local and national energy policies * Conducting research and analysis of energy efficiency and industry issues
What you'll need to have.... * Bachelor's degree * 2 years relevant experience * Excellent oral and written communication skills * Highly-developed interpersonal skills and self-motivation * Analytical skills, specifically in energy policy and program effectiveness * Solid personal computer skills (Microsoft applications) * Ability to prioritize and multi-task, and work under strict deadlines
Preferred Skills/Experience.... * Experience working in the commercial building sector, particularly the retail and/or food service and grocery sectors, or for an energy efficiency vendor/service provider serving the commercial building sector * Experience with Better Buildings, ENERGY STAR, LEED, and other program platforms * Familiarity with the development/delivery of public-private voluntary partnership programs * Experience with analyzing, evaluating and/or implementing energy efficiency measures in the commercial building sector.
