Do you have experience in theDistributed Energy Resource (DER)field? Our Advisory Services practice is hiring amotivated Managerinterested in help grow our practice!!

Our work is focused on developing solutions to support the integration of DER to achieve our clients environmental, business and policy objectives. Working with a team of senior managers and junior staff, your role will be to manage the continued development of ICF s DER analytics platform, and to help deliver quality answers to our clients distribution planning and operational challenges. You willlead the technical developmentof ICF s analytics around the evaluation of DER system impacts and economics and lead the team of analysts developing the tools and models that underpin the analytic aspects of ICF s DER consultancy. Working with our practice leads you will contribute the development of the DER analytics roadmap and spearhead the implementation, marketing and utilization of the resulting tools. As part of your role you will alsomanage consulting assignmentsand support all levels of project staff, with increasing responsibility for project management and client contact. You will have an opportunity to apply your experience and knowledge, gain exposure to major projects, and interact with experts and clients in the field, while building content knowledge and consulting skills.

This is a full-time position based in our Fairfax, VA or Washington DC offices and are ready to hire immediately!!

_What you will do:_ Quantitative and economic analysis, policy and regulatory research and support, and technical analysis focused on DER such as solar PV, energy storage, and demand response in the context of distribution system analysis. Manage the development and implementation of ICF s analytical tools to support our DER modeling efforts Lead, coach and share best practices with other ICF colleagues Work closely with the our practice leads and our marketing function to support the continued development of ICF s DER service offerings Leverage knowledge of DER analytics in the management of technical consulting assignments, including outlining and drafting deliverables, managing the budget, and directing project staff Establish yourself as a thought leader through external publications and presentations that showcase ICF s technical leadership

Qualifications

_Basic Qualifications:_ Bachelor s Degree in Engineering, preferably Electrical Master s Degree in Engineering, Economics, Operations Research, Economics or related disciplines including MBA 7 years of related energy industry experience Demonstrable experience of opportunity spotting through research / analysis Track record working on DER technologies and DER integration issues Experience using power system analysis tools and methods Experience using economic or financial analysis tools and methods

_Preferred Skills/Experience:_ Demonstrated experience managing large, complex projects and multidisciplinary teams Direct experience with the electric power utility sector Prior consulting/commercial project management experience Direct development experience with analytic tools and methods for power system modeling Direct development experience with analytic tools and methods for economic or financial analysis Exceptional research skills, including qualitative and quantitative data collection and analysis skills Experience in optimization, decision analysis, and discrete event simulation
