We are currently seeking a Channel Marketing Manager to join our dynamic team in Englewood Cliffs, NJ as the marketing leader for the Energy Business Center.

POSITION DESCRIPTION:

LG is seeking a talented, high-energy Channel Marketing Manager to drive messaging, develop channel programs and marketing strategy to support the dynamic growth of the LG energy business division. The Channel Marketing Manager will be responsible for developing, managing and executing programs to drive leads, campaigns and promotions to enhance channel partnerships, overseeing flawless execution for LG Solar, LED lighting , and other new energy products to its distributors and commercial customers. This position will leverage sophisticated marketing applications, including Pardot and Salesforce.com. Responsibilities will include developing go-to-market strategies for assigned channels, establishing channel marketing objectives, analyzing sales trend data, anticipating requirements and implementing strategic and tactical channel marketing plans. Attention to detail and an eye for quality, along with the ability to grasp and translate technical capabilities into benefits is crucial. An effective collaborator and strong team player, the channel Marketing Manager works cross-functionally with other groups including product marketing, public/media relations, marketing operations, outbound marketing, sales and Product Management. Reporting to the Head of Marketing, the position is based in Englewood Cliffs, NJ.

PRINCIPAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Responsible for the strategic development, execution, and implementation of integrated marketing programs that has direct impact on sales lift. This includes all marketing aspects (online/digital print and channel support programs to lift sales and in-house market share).

  • Works with the EBC Sales team and customers to ensure timely and correct execution of LG marketing activities including promotional signage, new product introductions, channel exclusive POP, and special projects as they arise.

  • Responsible for working with LG Sales team to ensure proper and consistent training of customers' sales associates. This would include WebEx series leadership and development, launch guide planning and production, customer specific learning tutorials as well as training tours.

  • Experience auditing/monitoring performance and making optimizations and recommending improvements that will improve LG's brand standing.

  • Oversees Channel Marketing program investments, recommending tactics that offer the best opportunity for performance. Importance weighing historical performance of Channel Marketing program elements along with outside investment analysis to create impactful and ROI positive programs.

  • Execute lead plan for channel partners.

  • Meet lead generation and nurturing objectives.

  • Communication to channel partners regarding programs, events, and product specific information.

  • Execute on a field level marketing promotions, campaigns and incentives for channel partner sales.

  • Work with cross functional groups to identify sales tools and training programs.

  • Work with Channel Sales team to deliver upon ongoing needs for sales operations.

  • Tailor marketing collateral for Partners related to new product/partner launches.

  • Works with cross functional teams to manage ongoing channel communications and updates.

  • Measures and monitors channel marketing programs to increase channel sales productivity.

  • Delivers ROI on major program initiatives.

  • Provides training and support as needed to channel partners.

  • Work with the business unit to optimize partner content and develop processes for effective launches with an emphasis on commercial display products.

  • Work with product and marketing team to develop key messaging and product differentiators to optimize product presence across strategic channel partners.

  • Develop assets to help sell commercial products online.

  • Manage processing of all applicable Marketing program invoices.

  • Strong reporting skills to ensure that all investments are accountable to business outcomes.

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

  • Bachelor's Degree required. (Marketing or Business Degree preferred).

  • 5+ years of marketing and or communications experience.

  • Experience working with B2B Channel partners such as Solar or Lighting Distributors, Resellers, Installers.

  • Strong understanding of commercial networking and selling in a B-to-B environment.

  • Proactive, self-motivated individual with the ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.

  • Strong copyrighting skills, creative mind and track record of developing successful marketing content is critical.

  • Excellent project management skills and able to work in a cross-functional, fast-paced team.

  • Preferred understanding of the Solar and LED Lighting markets, and B2B sales and marketing strategies.

  • Must possess high energy with strong proficiency and experience in channel, digital and online marketing.

  • Must have strong communication, influencing and executional skills and desire to work in complex and challenging fast paced environment.

  • Must be able to interact positively with internal stakeholders across functions and cultivate relationships within LGE US and with Headquarters teams.

  • Must have strong analytical skills.

  • Must be proficient in Excel and Powerpoint.

  • Must possess strong interpersonal, communication and reporting skills.
