JOB REQUIREMENTS: The Energy Products Specialist promotes the sales and marketing of energy products to targeted end user segments to profitably increase Landmark Energy sales, while promoting a positive company image. Essential Job Responsibilities: Conducts personal sales calls to prospective and current Landmark Energy customers. Route sales calls efficiently to minimize unnecessary mileage and "windshield time." Manage sales time wisely. Utilize technology as a sales tool. When appropriate, schedule appointments in advance. Prepares and presents professional and profitable Energy proposals to prospects and customers. Gain signed commitment. Determines accepted method of payment for work to be done. For example: Establish an approved "in-house" charge account for the customer with the Landmark Credit Department. Following sale, clearly communicate to customer and coworkers, scheduled work to be done. Participates in development and implementation of sales and marketing promotions. Attend product update meetings on a regular basis, sales refresher training as needed. Record sales calls and new sales closed (goals) in the CRM daily. Update sales opportunities in the Pipeline daily. ***** OTHER EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS: Possess the qualities of assertiveness, persistence, and competitive adeptness. Demonstrates ability to build and maintain multi-generational producer relationships, in a thoughtful and respectful manner. Demonstrates planning, organization, time management, and problem-solving skills. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Strong relationship driven customer service skills. Minimum 2- 4 years of outside sales experience to include: product presentations, sales negotiations, preparing bids & proposals and closing the sales. Proven ability to work independently while achieving desired results through a collective team effort. Must be self-driven, resilient, and have a positive team-first attitude. Ability to analyze a member/producer's needs, and provide solutions. Ability to support and communicate the Landmark Mission Statement in a competitive environment.
