Position Summary Information
The Supervisor for Energy Stewards, through supervision of a team of Energy Stewards, is responsible for coordinating the directives of the Energy Stewardship team and UES with Campus Building Proctors, Facilities Services, UES, campus administration, and customers.
Required Education and Experience
Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent combination of training and experience. Four years energy management experience to include building HVAC systems and control systems.
Preferred Education and Experience
HVAC operation and maintenance experience. Experience with DDC and pneumatic controls.
Required Licenses, Certifications, or Registrations
Valid Texas Class “C” drivers license, or ability to obtain within 30 days of employment.

Detailed Job Duties
Supervises and coordinates the actions of Energy Stewards and closely coordinates the actions of the Energy Stewardship team with other campus constituents. Coordinate the directives of the Energy Stewardship Leadership Team and UES with Campus Building Proctors, Facilities Services, UES, campus administration and customers.
Identify and implements energy conservation measures that will reduce the overall energy consumption and greenhouse gas emissions while increasing the level of sustainability activities in the campus buildings that have been assigned. This effort will require the following: – Performing research and analysis to identify energy conservation initiatives. – Reviewing and identifying deficiencies with HVAC and other mechanical, electrical and control systems. – Coordinate and implement HVAC schedules to conserve energy while ensuring customer needs are met. – Communicates with individuals and groups – related to energy conservation, consumption, education and awareness. – Issue reports, reply to inquiries, and make formal presentations. – Many of these efforts will require driving a university vehicle to various buildings around campus.
