Energy Management Coordinator
GGP has an immediate need for an Energy Management Cooridinator at our Corporate Office in Chicago, IL.

Performs standard, advanced and confidential duties requiring broad experience, skill and knowledge of organization policies and practices. Acts as a resource in the areas of training, troubleshooting and independent project facilitation. Responsible for
the construction or creation of communication and/or presentation pieces through individual initiative. Provides and creates traditional reports in the area of word processing, travel arrangements, meeting schedules. Receives moderate supervision; maintains
good communication and organizational skills; exhibits accuracy when working with details. Liaison between department heads, managers, employees and retailers.
Energy Management Specific Responsibilities
25-30% Contract Administration in Proliance (submitting capexes, issuing contract requests, setting up vendors in Proliance and JDE, troubleshooting technical issues with vendors, vendor training, providing invoice updates to vendors, etc.)
Energy Rebate Management (maintain tracking log, record checks as they arrive, see them through to misc. income accounts, follow up with properties monthly, pursue new rebates and problem solve as necessary, provide updates to executives
Exhibit F Tracking (maintain tracking log, save all incoming Exh. F’s in Box)
Build and maintain Energy Team intranet site on a monthly (or as-needed) basis
Serve as an assistant to Project Managers on team, help them as needed with various activities
Generate solar contracts and see them through to execution
Maintain files of hard copy documents (solar contracts, energy and gas procurement contracts etc).
Corporate Sustainability Report project member:
data and photo collection, timeline maintenance, extensive collaboration and communication with other departments, author HR & marketing pieces, ongoing editing, project status updates with other teams
spearhead and oversee research and collaboration efforts for the building of the report’s materiality matrix
Assist with annual Operations Conference as needed (mic running, presentation building/giving, assisting with registration, etc).
Occasionally help colleagues outside of immediate team with contracts and other needs
Serve as an Associate Project Manager on any energy projects assigned by SVP (i.e. Encycle, etc).
Ensure that SVP receives and signs energy procurement documents and that they are returned to appropriate individuals
Attend trainings/external educational sessions as required by SVP (i.e. LEED, GRI training, GRESB training etc).
Assist Manager of Sustainability with GRESB, CDP and other energy reporting duties as assigned
Various other tasks and projects as assigned by team members
- Book travel for team members, manage team member calendars, schedule meetings, complete expense reports, order business cards, ship items as needed, et up lunch/dinner reservations as needed, answer phone calls, place office supply orders
as needed, mail distribution, budgeting work as assigned, department party planning and coordination as needed
Provide reminders about duties and deadlines to team as needed
Process invoices manually as needed, code invoices in Alusta
See that solar invoices are approved by team and are brought for processing
Qualifications and Experience:
Education: High School Diploma; College degree strongly preferred
1-3 years in related field
Additional years of project management experience preferred

Ability to communicate with all levels within the organization and ability to work and learn independently and in a team situation
Strong organizational and time management skills
Ability to deal with multiple tasks effectively and establish priorities
Strong attention to detail
Able to quickly learn and be proficient with additional software packages
