Lockheed Martin is seeking a Software Engineer for a position in Cambridge, MA to support the development of an Energy Storage System. Development will include: Modifying and enhancing the current Energy Storage System Controller

Integrating command and control messages from power inverters and battery management systems developed internally by Lockheed Martin as well commercial off-the-shelf battery vendors

Tasks will include Java software development, integration, and test.

Basic Qualifications Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college. Strong experience with Embedded Java or C development.

Desired skills A Bachelors or Master’s degree in Computer Science or Computer Engineering or a related field is desired. Experience with professional software development using Eclipse, Git, Maven, and Jira Experience developing industrial control applications and/or SCADAs Experience developing in a real-rime environment (VxWorks, QNX, TwinCat) Experience developing control algorithms. Familiarity with industrial protocols such as MODBUS/TCP, serial (RS485), CAN bus, and Digital/Analog inputs Experience implementing software controls for Utilities, Microgrids, Energy Storage Systems, or other electrical power systems Experience with MongoDB/NoSQL, RabbitMQ, and Linux administration Experience with Web frontend technologies such as the Play Framework, JavaScript, AngularJS, Jquery, CSS, and SASS TCP/IP Networking and Cybersecurity skills
