This position is responsible for setting the strategic direction and driving the success for the Global Services Energy Software Services Practice. This position drives service revenue and leads all service and delivery activities, including implementation, escalations, upgrades, IT Professional Services, and Project Management for their industry vertical.
The VP of Global Services – Energy Practice will work in collaboration with other leaders to ensure a high level of customer loyalty and employee satisfaction in their vertical.
Serve as the key industry strategist for GE’s Energy Software Services Practice, covering the Power, Renewable Energy, and Energy Connection spaces; driving the long-term Global Services vision for this vertical
Engage with c-level leadership from key Power, Renewable, and Energy Connection clients, managing both existing and new relationships
Show a high level of industry-specific domain expertise
Drive Energy focused solution delivery catalog with relevant service and solution offerings, pricing, portfolio…working with Global GE, Regional Leaders, and solution design team
Act as a practice specific General Manager – responsible for overall global customer delivery and execution within the Energy vertical
Build and manage a global team driving GE’s Energy Software Services Practice
Provide strategic organizational leadership and direction to ensure the execution of high-quality service and delivery
Partner and collaborate with Sales GMs, Commercial Solutions Leaders, and the Centers of Excellence (CoE) to ensure a cohesive strategy and execution in delivering solutions to customers
Leverage internal relationships with Regional, CoE, and Cross-Functional teams to enhance business performance and customer experiences
Drive continuous improvement, process excellence, and productivity
Promote a safe working environment and ensure compliance with applicable EHS policies and procedures
Measure and monitor overall customer satisfaction, manage major customer escalations, and drive best in class customer service excellence.
Lead the continued evolution of the Services organization from practice-based to customer-based. Participate in and strengthen the partnership between Sales and Service to provide seamless customer service and rapid response.
Deliver on all business commitments including revenue and base cost targets, quality, and compliance activities
Understand and meet customer needs while balancing business objectives and fostering strong customer relationships by exceeding customer expectations on service delivery
Accountable for driving transparency and actions supporting KPIs including attrition, profitability, utilization, and billability
Accountable for prioritization of services resources to maximize revenue and margin potential for the business while maintaining and improving customer satisfaction Qualifications/Requirements: Basic Qualifications:
BA/BS degree in Business, Finance, or related professional field
At least 10 years of related industry experience in a large, complex organization
GE Leadership Program Graduates will get credit towards relevant work experience, commensurate to the program they have completedEligibility Requirements:

In-depth knowledge of and experience in the Digital Technologies, IT, Software markets, and GE Digital Software Solutions

MBA or equivalent

Broad and deep technical experience with cloud and emerging technologies, including Outcome-as-a-Service (OaaS), Infrastructure-as-a-Service(IaaS), and/or Platform-as-a-Service (PaaS)
Demonstrated experience with global software system implementation organizations and/or Big 4 management consulting firms
