Location is flexible within the North Eastern or Mid-Atlantic US.District energy and power and thermal generation projects are implemented in the Commercial, Institutional, & Industrial sectors, including cogeneration, combined-cycle, boilers, chillers, thermal storage, renewable energy, district energy, and electric/gas interconnection.The Sub-Market Leader will be responsible for providing recommendations to the Market Leader on the strategic direction for his/her respective sub-market. This individual will ultimately be measured by the sub-market's success determined by the sub-market's profitability, generated fee volume, and the effectiveness and quality of the services delivered to our external clients.ResponsibilitiesMaintain sub-market business plan - This individual will be responsible for executing the overall strategic goals for the respective sub-market. From time to time, the Sub-Market Leader will provide recommendations to the Market Leader of any appropriate modifications to the plan, where appropriate.Prepare annual budget and monitor sub-market's financial performance. This individual will be responsible for creating the budget related to his/her sub-market on an annual basis and reviewing his/her sub-market's financial reports monthly to determine any changes necessary to ensure the financial metrics as determined by the Group Operations Team are met (i.e. revenue, profit, etc.).Sustain and grow existing client relationships and seek new client relationships within sub-market - This individual will be responsible for the growth and sustainability of the sub-market through on-going business development and client relationship development efforts, and staying abreast of trends in the marketplace.Allocate billable time to projects within market - The Sub-Market Leader will be responsible for meeting a utilization goal by performing work on billable projects. He/she will also manage the sub-market staff's utilization to ensure the market meets its financial metrics.QualificationsA Bachelor's degree is required; Master's degree is preferred, or equivalent professional experience.Professional technical licensure is required or equivalent professional experience.Technically astute and strategic in thinking to properly position the sub-market for strong financial performance.Strong understanding and knowledge of his/her sub-market as well as the adaptability for future services offered within the respective markets.An articulate and persuasive communicator, both one-on-one and in front of large groups.A high energy, results-oriented, resourceful leader who is capable of establishing himself/herself as a credible strategic member of management within the company.Strong ability to resolve matters that arise within the sub-market.Strong experience with project budgeting.Proven business development results.Demonstrates a strong understanding of internal accounting processes.Demonstrates a strong knowledge of company's technical processes.All qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, national origin, citizenship, age, disability, protected veteran status, or any other characteristic protected by law.
