ManTech Power and Energy Analyst in Aberdeen Proving, Maryland

General Responsibilities:

Analyze and predict Army vehicle fuel consumption, analyze energy production, utilization, and energy transfer by using model data, test data, and programmatic data provided by the Government. Support analyses associated with Power and Energy field collection. Perform verification and validation tasks required to enhance model fidelity.

Mandatory Skills Requirement:

• Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering, Physics or Mathematics AND

• At least one (1) year of experience performing power/energy engineering analyses including automotive electric systems and fuel consumption prediction

• At least one (1) year of experience analyzing portable military electric generation, storage and distribution systems

• Must produce high-quality written documents and briefings

• Must present technical material to technical audiences and to high-level decision-makers.

Qualifications

Requires Bachelor s degree or equivalent in Mechanical Engineering or related area and two to four years of experience.
